The City of Woonsocket is located on the Blackstone River, south of Massachusetts border. It has a very significant location, right at the center of the Boston/Worcester/Providence Triangle. It directly connected to Route 146, and I-295 by way of the newly constructed Route 99. State routes 114, 122 and 126 run through the City, providing connections to the Interstate System.
Woonsocket is home to Landmark Medical Center which has been serving the city with its quality services for over 100 years. Suburban communities of Lincoln, Cumberland and North Smithfield form its surroundings.
